The streets in 西门町, which is just below our hotel

This is a soft toy heaven. Look at the giant pink panther! There is also a enormous 'kunfu panda' in the shop. Too bad, can't take photos in the shop. But we manage to take some sneakily. Hehe

The all famous food stall in 西门町. Die die also must try once when you are in Taiwan. As you can see, there are no tables and chairs provided. So you just have to stand and eat, holding the hot bowl of 面线 in your hands. It took me quite awhile to get used to it!

On our way to 华西夜市, we passed by 龍山寺, which is a few streets away from 西门町。

This is 华西夜市,also known as the Snake alley.

We had a bowl of snake soup, known to be good for complexion and the skin. It was my very first bowl of snake soup and I feel that its not very nice cause its too diluted. According to dear, he drank nicer ones the last he went Taiwan. Oh and snake meat has a lot of bones! Spent quite some time trying to eat the meat.

That's grilled corn. Hmm.. not that nice to me. I prefer steamed ones =)

According to the vendor, he said Taiwan's corns are much bigger than Singapore's. What do you think?

Dear making fun of the cat. It was staring at the corn and then started to chase after it when dear moved the corn.

The bakery one street away from our hotel. They sell steaming hot 点心 as well. Their potato salad bun is yummy too. Kenny had it for breakfast for 2 days.
