We made our way to Jiantan station to catch the bus (Red 5) to 阳明山。 Oh the bus system in Taiwan is unlike ours. Some buses collect the fare when you board while some collect it when you alight. So you'll have to take note of the signboard when you bored the bus. They have 2 queues for each bus, one is whereby you are able to sit while the other is the 'standing queue'. The driver will open the front door for the people in the 'sitting queue' to board. After all the seats are taken, he will then open the rear door for the 'standing queue' to board.

The internal shuttle bus stop at 阳明山。It was really cold and the wind was very strong!

The magnificent mountain.

Scenery shots while on the shuttle bus

Our first stop: 二子坪. Well, nothing much here. More of scenery. We walked the 二子坪 trail where there are lots of nice scenery along the way.

At the shuttle bus. While waiting for the shuttle bus, kenny got chased about by a ultra hyper stray dog. Haha it was damn funny. We all thought he would be 'save' from the dog once the shuttle bus comes. In the end, the dog went up onto the bus together with him! Having no choice, he had to led the dog down and then run a few rounds, make a few stunts before jumping up the bus, together with the help of the driver who closed the door in time. Really hilarious.

The 'scars' made by the dog.

Our 2nd stop: 小油坑 aka sulphur valley. It was really smelly. The smell is over-whelming, just like rotten eggs. Even worst than smelly beancurd!

We didnt walk much of 阳明山 cause its really too big! Each trail is like how many km and one trail takes like one whole day! To reward our fatigue body, we went for a sulphur bath at a 饭店 nearby. Well, its SULPHUR bath so of cause its a little smelly but its way better than the smell at the sulphur valley! Felt really shiok after the bath!
On the bus down the mountain! Wanted to watch the sunset at 渔人码头 but we were too late for it! Had to make do with it on the bus.

Here we are! 淡水's night market. This is called 大肠包小肠。The outer layer is actually glutinous rice and the inner layer is 腊肠。 Not too bad. But the glutinous rice is not to my liking.

This grilled squid is everywhere. Wanted to have a try but didn't in the end. Maybe we could try this during one of our bbq!

Streets of the night market. Not that many people actually. Probably because its a weekday.

I'm so tired from all the walking the whole day that I can't even stand up straight! My legs are protesting already.

On the MRT on the way back. Can't help but to fold my legs.

Our original plan was to go to 士林夜市 the same night. However, it would be quite late by the time we reached there and were advised by the hotel staff not to go. So, we roam about 西门町 once more and chanced upon this shop which sells shaved ice! Super yummy. I love the ice.

We also had pearl milk tea, which was also super yummy. They are really generous with their pearls, which will fill half the cup! Heh. But I would prefer not having so much pearl.
