Official soundtrack of the Japanese drama, 'The reason I cannot love' or 私が恋愛できない理由。
Its about 3 women of different personalities, their perspectives toward love and problems they faced. A good watch I would say. Learned more about how the Japanese actually handle relationships, I guess still the society whereby men have the say and the women listens. Still a male dominating society. Anyway back onto the plot, I was quite sad that 爱惠 didn't leave for America with 忧 in the end. Both of them were a couple a few years ago but that only last for 2 weeks. Their relationship broke down due to misunderstanding and miscommunication. However, both remain as 親友 and perfect partners at work for years after. Well, to cut the long story short, their love rekindled and they are together again after so many bends. However,  忧 wants to leave for America for his dream and he asked 爱惠 along. It was a tough decision for her. If she goes, she will be with the man she loves. However, what will she be doing in America? To the guy, he will be living his dream. However, to 爱惠, she will be living the live of the man but not hers. In the end, she chose to live in Japan to pursue her dreams while the guy left for America. If you are in her shoes, what would you have done?

If I was her, I will feel sad not being with the man I love. I understand her reason for not leaving. But, I wonder if it's worth it. Living my dream or being with the man I love? It really takes a whole lot of courage to leave the comfort zone, to a foreign land to start anew. And to live the dream of others? That will be even more depressing. But, what are the chances you would find someone you love as much as him? Its really a tough call.

So.. back to the drama, I love this soundtrack because its so hopeful, of beautiful things, of a fresh start and the world is still a worthy place to live for. Also, 安室奈美惠's 'love story' was also used in this drama. Totally love this song. So emo. Couldn't find the official full MV so didn't post it here. Listen to it for some good music!
