A long awaited break from work finally!
A much anticipated trip to Krung Theap with mummy!
Its amazing and scary when 2 women go on a vacation together.

About P2 Boutique Hotel

We stayed at P2 boutique hotel which is located at a 10 minutes walk distance to The Platinum Fashion Mall. The receptionist, Ah May speaks good mandarin and so we did not have any communication issue. Breakfast was included throughout our 5 days stay there. However, the food they served was disappointing. Food was cold and not tasty at all. Coffee and tea were also just so-so. The only food that was decent and cannot go wrong would be the toast bread.

Massage service was also available at the hotel. They have Oil massage, Thai massage and foot massage. Thai and foot massage are 300B per hour, 500B for 2 hours each. Oil massage is more expensive. Of course, the rates at the hotel was more pricey than those outside. However, the massage was good, place was clean and we felt safe. Therefore, it was worth the price.

It was a 6 storeys hotel and we were given a room on the 2nd floor. We requested for a double bed room. It was clean and cozy, not too small that you will feel suffocated. The bathroom was of a decent size, with enough room for us to turn and move comfortably. The room was equipped with a TV, round dinning table with 2 chairs, safe, refrigerator and an electric kettle. Mineral water from provided and replenished everyday.

P2 boutique hotel is located at Pratunum area. Palladium mall is just located on the main street when we turn out of the hotel. It is diagonally opposite Platinum mall, a walk-able distance of about 10 mins. Along the way, there were many pushcart hawkers selling the typical Thailand street food like fried chicken, fish, fermented sausages, their style of mixed rice etc... Across the road, there are also chicken rice stall (very yummy!), kopi-toast and satay stall. As what they say, you can't go hungry in Bangkok!

All in all, P2 boutique hotel is at a prime location whereby shoppers who target platinum mall would love. For its price, location and room ambiance, I would say its worth the stay. However, I will try to stay at Novotel the next visit, main reason being its located right above Platinum mall. Saves the hassle of lugging big bags of loot and walking back to the hotel. =P

More about the trip coming up next... Stay tuned!  :)
