Music connects people.

I spent the past 2 weekends at Yong Peng high school band, preparing and performing for their concert owning to their invitation and great hospitality. Seeing those lively 13-18 years old kids made me feel young once again. It reminded me of band days at BHSS! Super active and cheerful kids, full of live and talented I must admit. At least for BHSS band at my time, we didn't even manage to play half the repetoir (in terms of standard) of what YPHS performed. Kudos to those kids. They also reminded me that playing music is all about hard work, discipline and of course fun, instead of competition and the fear. Its really how much hard work put in to improve ourselves. This, I must bear in mind.

I, as a Singaporean am definitely much more fortunate than these kids. As so, all the more I should share the knowledge, help within my ability and be much better (as a person and as a musician).
