"Taking the leap from safe comfortable steady ground into an unknown void is not something that comes easily. Humans basic instinct is to protect itself and places priority on food and shelter and taking risks could affect these necessities.
BUT life is not just about being comfortable - its about living your passion."

Very motivational really! I don't know how well 'living your passion' relates to you but it sure gave me a morale boost to a decision I made recently.

I do agree that food and shelter are important and their priority will increase as we grow older, start to have our own family and/or having to support our parents. BUT precisely because of this, the time of our youth IS the time to take all these risks, to find our passion and to live our passion.

Are you in the situation whereby you may not hate your job but you do not like it either? If you are, I think its time to ask yourself if you will be happy staying in this job for months and years to come. Regardless of whether you just started working or have been in that job for years and decades (then you be really tolerant), I really think its time to seriously consider your path ahead.

Leaving our comfort is indeed something most people will stumble at. Career inertia. But as young people, we should be bold and we just have to take that risk in order to reveal the opportunities coming our way. You will never know if you never try.
