I went for a hair cut yesterday with Yinging and Yi hui at Jean Yip. Quite a fun experience I would say(not that the hairdresser did funny things to our hair or what). First impression when I was waiting for my turn (YN went first): The hairdressers all looked damn cool and icy. Especially when YN was flipping the magazine and choosing the style she wants, he looked impatient and fierce. Shortly after, this shampoo girl came to me and helped washed my hair. She was very friendly, telling me about the various types of hair treatment, asking about me and also telling me how she loves reading comics and collecting them, seeing that I'm reading comic too. At last, after drying my hair, it was my turn. I got the same hair dresser as YN. Surprisingly, he isn't as cool and icy as I thought to be. Although the first 10 mins or so was quiet, we began conversing after that. I can't remember the exact words we used. This is rougly what we said.

ME: 你是新加坡人吗？
H.D 不是。。马来西亚人...
ME: Ohh...
And before I could say anything...
H.D Orh...你不喜欢马来西亚人帮你剪头发是吗? 你不喜欢也没有办法.. 这里每个都是马来西亚人.
ME: ......

H.D: 你几岁了?
ME: 你觉得呢?
H.D: 十七十八?
ME: Smiling away... 二十一...
H.D: 啊?二十一?看起来很年轻... 你们这几个也是二十一啊?
ME: Ah...
H.D: 刚才那个(yn)也是二十一?
ME: Ah..
H.D: Ah... 很像小孩子

hahaha.. Ok...Its good to look young!

H.D: 你的头发很多...
ME: 我很久没有剪了...
H.D: 多久?两年?
ME: ........ 没有拉.. 几个月...
H.D: 哦.. 你的头发这么多,我会j剪到很累的...
ME: ........

H.D: 你要不要 rebond 头发?
ME: 很贵... 没有钱.
H.D: 那多少才不算贵?
ME: 一百多...
H.D: 哦.. 如果你带朋友来 rebond 头发我可以算你便宜一点... 大概 $128 for short hair, $148 for long hair. Colour 头发也可以...

So.. anyway wants to dye or rebond hair? Hmm.. Based on first time experience there and seeing their skills, I think its quite reliable ba... Yup.. Plus the price is almost the same or cheaper than some other places... I think its quite worth it ba. Anyone interested we can go together!
