Woke up.. Shocked to see that it's already 1+pm when I'm suppose to meet my section at 1230 at ECP. Luckily cz was at the bus stop nearby to 'force' me to get off the bed. The rest of the section was already at bedok jetty when we reached Macs. Having not skate for like 1 year, the super slow and unsteady me have to skate all the way to the jetty!! As usual, the super nice uncle/daddy came over to us and accompanied the super slow me all the way to the jetty. =)
While skating, I realised that I've changed in such a way that I'm more afraid of falling down. There's even a part where I could feel my eyes getting teary when I thought I'll bang into the cyclist while going downslope. But I held on to my tears and continued my journey. Man, I'm so proud of myself. Haha. Of couse, have to thank uncle for the encouragement and pointers along the way too. The journey back was much easier! =) haha.. But bet yingning must be cursing me along the way cause I exchange my skates for the bike with her! Heh. Had dinner and catching up session with all of them. Feels good and that's something the section hasn't done for a long long time. Also realised that friends are really important in our lives. It's been a good day.
