Band camp '06 (29 Dec - 31Dec)

As what daniel says, it really is a 'get fat' camp as all of us are practising the 'eat, sit down practice, eat, sit down practice ....' cycle. I ate at least twice as much as what I would have eaten if I'm at home. During these 2 days, we tasted some really good (reasonable price and tasty) 'Tze Char' at can 4 and coffeshop at 'Ah fang'. The CL section goes to places with good food. Haha.

First night .... We had a mini section outing - Midnight movie, death note 2 at JP. Cw bought pop-corn and dunno why, I think the pop-corn tasted exceptionally nice. Heehee.. And I think I helped him finish quite a lot. We took a cab back to hall to sleep after the movie.

Next morning, met sharon for swimming classes. I'm happy that I have improved. The kids who are learning too had a test that day and I really 'pei fu' them for their stamina. I'm not even half as good as them.

Went to meet my section for breakfast at can 1 before practice starts. Ate the porridge there and it was indeed not bad, though I think it was a little salty, slightly off standard that day.

It was supposed to be sectionals after dinner. However, the Cl section started playing charade in the other room and gosh, it was really funny, especially nick's actions! Had a really good laugh man. Really fun!

2nd night... Cl section went over to Yingning's hall for the gift exchange session and wohoo, we started playing and drinking there. We continued with our game of charade and 'the food game', where the losing team or person have to drink. Yn was the first one to kena and her face is really pinkish after that. We switched over to ghost story telling session where I hear a lot of 'army ghost story'. The most scary one is the 'stand by organ' and the 'faceless ghost'. Luckily I was too tired to think about it much and doze off quickly.

Next morning, everyone went back to their hall to wash up and we met at can 13 for breakfast. Coffee and Kaya toast for me! Walked to nanyang house for the last full band for the camp! Practiced the singing for 'Galaxy 999' and I sang along although its not required for me. Hehe. The tune is catchy and nice but its drving nicholas nuts cux it kept playing in his mind and he even dreamt of it. Haha. Luckily its not that serious for me. =p

After the camp, we went JP for lunch and I had the ever so yummy chicken chop from 'the grill'. Yum Yum. Fun over? Not yet! Since its New year eve, the Cl section decided to meet up later at night for some fireworks display!

We got a lift from Daniel to kallang riverside park where we then walked a long journey to somewhere near esplanade where we could catch the fireworks. The firework display was great! Many nice effects I see for the first time, best was the one that looks like 'golden glitter, dust' falling down. The long walk was definitely worth it! Took some pictures here and there and we walked back. The journey wasn't as long as it seems cux we were chit chatting, laughing along the way.

Proceeded to geylang for supper before going back home!

So so... the first thing I did for the new yr was..... Watching fireworks with a bunch of cool people! A happy and great start of the year man! Whee!

This camp is surely fun and happening~
