Watched the movie, 'Firewall' with Minghan and Melvin at Shaw Plaza earlier on. Generally, it was a nice movie, not those which will put you to sleep definitely. It is about a man whose family got kidnapped and he is supposed to help the robbers rob the bank(through IT) if he wants his family alive. In the end, he rise to be the hero whom rescued his family singlehanded. He did it by tracking down the whereabouts of his family using the tracking device found on the dog. Come to think about it, if this were to happen in reality, would he be so lucky? In the first place, why would the robbers(also the kidnappers) kidnap the dog as well? Haha, a flaw in the plot! Nonetheless, its still a movie worth watching!
Its so cool to see my friends obtaining their license and being a legal driver. Imagine them behind the wheels! I did thought of learning driving as well. At least in the further when I enter the workforce, I need not take a train and change 2-3 buses in order to get to work. However, the cost of taking up lessons and being on the road with those impatient drivers put me off. I want to obtain my license using my own hard earned money. Haha, at least I think that would add more prestige to it~ Although I say being on the road with impatient drivers puts me off, in actual fact, I think its still bearable in Singapore. I came to realise this after I've been to KL and witnessed the road courtesy and conditions there. You'll get honked if you stop your vehicle at the roadside for just awhile, especially during peak hours. So, I should count my blessings being in Singapore! Haha. Just a thought: If people like me don't dare to drive in Singapore, how would people in countries with worse road conditions able to do it?
