Chalet 8/4 - 10/4

Day 1 was filled with most activities. Most people turned up and stayed over that night too. Our day started off with the bbq where Melvin helped or rather, was forced to start the fire. I stayed by to watch and learn at the same time. I didn't know how to start the fire previously but now I know! Haha, I did learn something useful. Besides the usual bbq foodstuff like chicken wings, prawns, crab stick, hotdog, sweet potatoes, sweet corn and mashmellows,we grilled bananas with chocolate sauce and made our own pizza bread as well. The food was simply delicious and cooking it was sure fun!

We played a number of interesting games which sure created a lot of laughter! We played 'ti-ti-ti-ti tiu', The Animal Game(another version of concentration), 'Who-What-Huh', 'Bing Bang Boom', '007' etc... The game which made us laugh till our throat hurt and out of breath would be 'ti-ti-ti-ti tiu'. Its a good game which I would share with those who are unaware when I have the opportunity!

After the bbq, we proceeded to the park with bags of water bombs, preparing to get all wet. (All thanks to pf who suddenly has the urge to make the bombs upon seeing others play it) We played 'Zhong Ji Mi Ma' and 'Hai Dai' where the losing team and player gets bombed. Haha, I got bombed by au EE and I bombed Harris~ I wasn't too wet at the end of the bombing session which was good =) We went back to our chalet after that. Some went to wash up while I continued bbq-ing.

I got knocked out by 5am and drifted to dreamland quickly.

The next morning, Minghan, melvin, eugene and me cycled to Mac and I ordered a hotcake for breakfast.Seems like Big Breakfast is the hot favourite among Mac's breakfast meal. Its a long time since I ate it~ Saw Kun xiang and ester there too.

Finally, when everyone was up, we rent bikes and cycled around pasir ris park. Its also a long since I last cycle. To get onto a bike again, feeling the breeze brush across is simply a pleasure =P This time round, I'm sure I've got my leg muscles a great workout! I rode on a double bike for the first time too with elaine. I don't really like riding it. I feel that its quite unstable and shaky but elaine doesn't think so. The person on the front seat must also not be too big such that he/she block the view of the person sitting behind. However, I must say that the double bike would be good for couples or even family with a kid. Like that, couples would be able to chat with each other and feel each other's company rather than being on individual bike. Don't all of you agree?

All the high hopes I have for playing in the sea and 'beach-ing' came tumbling down when the water and sand is in a terrible state. The air smells lousy too. Singaporeans have really got to beef up in keeping the beach a clean place. Why can't Singapore have a clean, nice beach with fine white sand and clear sea water just like those in Thailand, Australia etc...? In the end, we took some photos at the beach and I can't wait to see the one where au ang says we look very 'sunshine' Hehe. I believed I got slightly darker and my face got slightly burnt. Luckily its not too bad. We returned to our chalet where I bathed and took a nap in the aircon room upstairs. The most comfortable nap I had during the chalet.

We continued with the bbq for our dinner, this time round with much lesser people. Though the more the merrier, having a 9 people bbq party isn't that bad after all. The 9 of us except Sin Wei whose always walking around sat around the bbq pit, chatting while bbq-ing. It felt great. We played games, sing and watched superband in between. The last activity of the day was a short night walk where we settled at a breakwater, enjoying the scenery. We were so tired by then that all of us got knocked out before 3am.

Day 3 was simple and ended fast. Check out and home we go!

Overall, this chalet is considerably fun but not much of excitement. I think I would prefer costa sands - downtown east or if possible, Aloha. Guitar chalet! The best chalet I ever had!

Anyway, my cousin is in Superband and his band has made it to the first round of competition starting this monday! His band name is Jade and he is the drummer. Quite handsome. So must support his band ah! Haha.

P.S: Ok! Photos will be up shortly, as soon as I got them.
